Meg Masters. My artwork %)
Three cats. Watercolor. Painted yesterday.
I don’t know how many of your saw the few posts i made last night here and on twitter about my computer but long story short: It is very close to being completely toast. It’s slow as shit, doesn’t like booting very much and when it does, it will randomly cut it’s own power just because it can! It’s already been fixed from frying it’s own harddrive once and while that was fantastic in that it made the computer functional again, it’s been even worse since that happened. :C
Since it’s still functioning and i have fuck all money, I’ve decided that it would be a better idea to save like mad to get a decent computer rather than getting a cheaper piece of shit that doesn’t do what i want it to and will need to be replaced sooner anyway, sooo I’m trying to earn about $2000. If my computer dies before i reach that number I guess i’ll end up buying a cheaper one, because if i lose the computer then spreading my art + getting work is going to suddenly become a hell of a lot harder.
This I could achieve this by:
Performing black magic so someone calls me back about a job application
Oooor begging for donations (if i got $1 from every one of my followers i could cover it easily! :0 )
My birthday and christmas are both coming up so I’m going to hoard whatever i get from them, but i need your help, guys! Every little bit helps and if you can’t spare anything (I know how it is <3) then a signal boost would be rad.
My work looks like this:
Regular commissions are $40 (and you get the physical piece! Wowsa) and icons are $15. More of my art can be found here!
I promise this will be the last time i whine about money here for a very long time :X
help my friend buy her things they are very nice
Artist & Illustrator:
Part of the "Stones & Bones" Series"I always varied pens but rarely drawing surfaces.
Out of paper for a short time, I turned to the two inert materials: stone and bone.
These inert materials seemed so ordinary!
This is not the case. They are still “living” materials: rough, bold, smooth, cracked, absorbent ….
Taming the variety of surfaces on a volume is a real adventure!
So I put aside the paper and canvas fabric to experiment with new drawing sensations.Hand fits. The fingers feel every bumps. The spirit leaves guided by reliefs. The tip of the pen folds and unfolds. I even had the feeling that this matter thank me for taking care of.
Today, I look differently. I understand them differently.
This experience has enriched my own drawing skills.
The “inert and dead” matter, gave me some lessons.
The following images are the result.”
